Sgt Bryan Craddock

Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego Drill Instructor supporting the East Team

What’s your impression of the players so far?

It’s overwhelming. They come from all different parts of the country. To see them out here to know they’re high school students with all this talent, they all come together. I’m pretty much overwhelmed.

What is the team learning from the Marines?

Mainly just the physical as well as the mental courage to know that their mind can’t be stopped. Their body can be shut down, but their mind can push them beyond their limits. Basically building up their mental courage and confidence and instilling camaraderie for the whole team. They come from all different parts and I want to bring them together as a team so they can win as a team.

What are you learning from the players?

They’re coming out high school and they have all different talents. I’ll take back to San Diego that everyone has their own way of doing things, so you can pretty much find the way they tick and be able to utilize the different attributes.
